I feel like there's a "that's what she said" joke here somewhere. Dunno.

Spent the day tearing down a holzen haus and transferring it to the woodshed. Hopped on the tractor and did some mowing of the lower 40.

Then I headed into the woods to clear a fallen tree across a logging road. Have to finish that tomorrow.

Rofl. I have a few large pieces I need to split in the yard, and it will be used vertically for the first time on them. But otherwise, every round I have rolls off my tailgate right onto the horizontal splitter.

If I tried to split vertical for 4 hours I'd probably need medical help! My back doesn't like that working position at all...

And another week has gone by without checking in. We have been in Salsbury NC and Spencer NC for the Thomas Day Out. It's at the NC Transportation Museum which is an old Train Depot and shop. Lots of cool restored Transportation related items.

Sorry for all the pics but I know we all like them and these are some cool items. 20180929_101129.jpg 20180929_155053.jpg 20180929_115524.jpg 20180929_115602.jpg 20180929_101121.jpg 20180929_160647.jpg 20180929_101157.jpg 20180929_101138.jpg

I guess they figure people don't go to church or won't if their kids want to play?? Growing up we always played on Saturday?

Yeah, but that was back before people started to think you have to cram "activities" into every minute of every day...my BIL/SIL are almost run ragged with all the kids "stuff" going on all the time...I refuse to be on that level of busy, I don't think its good for the kids either (although they do have pretty well adjusted kids)
