In Da Smoke at noon with plenty o rub on em Some Sweet Baby Rays on em for the final few minutes, and almost ready to come off after the sauce sets up
Skeeter, did these with hamburger and some with turkey used brown sugar bourbon seasoning on top with provolone. Everybody liked them.
Made some portobello mushrooms with balsamic and garlic and onions too. Can’t post pics, though. Will try later.
I’m slackin’! We had out of state company yesterday so I did make a 5 pound top round. A bit of maple and apple smoke then to the slicer! Served it on weck rolls with horseradish and Aujus. Also whipped up some Parmesan tater wedges in the Dutch oven. I’m thinking some sausage, apples and onions are in order at some point this week! My brother caught this yesterday morning and it’s destined for the smoke box, I’ll have to confiscate some pictures!
Little bit of outdoor cooking tonight. Apples, onions and fresh dug taters from the garden. Briquettes with some apple wood pieces tossed in for effect. Brown up the sausage out with the sausage, in with the apples, onions and honey Chopped taters in oil on the side box There’s dinner! Has a good salty sweet flavor and it’s quick and easy. I forgot last time I made it I cut the sausage into pieces rather than crumbling, but still tastes the same.
i bet if you threw one on a toasted bun wit lettuce mayo tomato and ketchup, maybe some BACON too it would be great
Not on the grill or smoker, but figured it would work. The beginning of Mississippi pot roast. Wife is cooking today while work in the yard. If I'm in the house I'll try to get more pictures.
4 hrs pulled them out and foiled to rest....ramped up the temp to 250°for my brined thick cut pork chops
A busy day today. Did another Tri-tip, this time on the Weber Kettle. Tried my hand at smokin' some cheese cause it was in the 60s. This is the first time so it’s more or less an experiment. Did Gouda, provolone, and a couple Mozzerellas that I dint take a pic of. Vacuum sealed the cheeses to let it rest in the fridge for two to four weeks.
