Great uncle next door just drove off with 2 5 gallon buckets, apparently to get water for the toilet, a few miles away. We just have a big garbage can out to collect the rain.

They dug up some ground yesterday, between us and the house my other great uncle is selling on the other side. Looking for a leak. No luck.

Don't really know what to make of that. But if it works and no one is hurt, good for her.

A precious picture there. Mother and child. Hope you save a copy of that and give it to your son once he has become an adult.

Same with my kittens. Cat toys (except bouncy balls) are no fun. Bird toys are great for just lifting up and dropping on the wood floor - guess they like the noise from the heavy plastic hitting. Anything on a table or counter is de bomb! Current favorite at night is my contact cleaner case. I'm guessing it is the slight noise it makes from the hydrogen peroxide solution off-gassing from the lid. I've moved it to several areas and they keep finding it. Will have to get a small container to catch the moisture so I can put it IN a cabinet.

Got a text from dad late last night. Looks like his two year stint in FL is about done. He lived in northern NH, but the cold was too much, so he went south. Now the heat is too much. F'n Goldielocks

It will be nice to have him back though. Hes looking in southern NH, wont be as bad in the winter.

EDIT: This was supposed to post yesterday so because it was already typed in, I just hit reply. Oh well. It got down to 41 last night.

Loving this weather!!!!!!!!!! 45 overnight. 30's to our north. Wind died down last evening. Good thing.

Even the big bridge was partially closed yesterday but has re-opened.

Like that bridge although I don't think I would like to go over in a big wind.

Borrowed the big shredder from school and now I am working my way through a backlog of shredding. I know I can burn it in the wood boiler but it create a lot of fly ash and plugs up the secondary smoke chamber.

Over cast this morning but I think it is going to break out in sunshine this afternoon. I might try and get some blackberries picked if the sun comes out.

Yes, it can be scary in a big wind. Only one time was I held up though. 85 mph wind stopped us flat, along with many others. I would not cross in that wind, not even on foot.
