Anyone buy their guns on Proxibid?

I have been buying a few from there. The buyer premium frosts me, when I know they are hitting their selling customer hard too, and the buyer premium affects the final bid.

I get some decent buys on occaision and have limited which auction places I buy from.

Occaisionally I have an oh crap! Moment and win something I preferred I hadnt. Have a pretty poor LC Smith coming.

Premiums steer me back to Gunbroker. Though the shill bidding is obvious.

I have gotten a few things, that needed a little smithing. Have an 80+ year old gentleman acquaintance who loves to dig into them.

Any Proxibiddera have some tips?

Not sure if anyone would deal with NY gun laws though.

 

It is a nationwide online auction source. Most auction businesses now offer online bidding prior to and during auctions.
Online bidders are competing with on site bidders. I use it for firearms purchasing sometimes.

No mention of NY on buying info, but many auction places state they won’t ship to California.
