Hi, Today a friend and I picked up two tons for a price of: $259/ton but you get a $20 credit to apply to the next ton. No limit on the number of tons. My understanding as of today it that this sales ends the end of August. But maybe check in Sept. to see if the sales runs again.
I am now sure how widespread the sale and the availability of MWP 100% SW, but it is an excellent deal on SuperPremium.
My Aubushon's doesn't carry MWP. They did have other stuff "on sale". Same regular price, but got the $20 credit. Unfortunately it was pay and take, not pay and hold.
On Sept. 18, 2018, I talked to my local Newmarket store manager. He said the $20 credit sale will resume Sept. 20th. He also told me that Okanagon wood pellets will soon arrive at some Aubochon stores, but he did not know whether the Okanagon's would be a blend or 100% softwood.
My local store has had Okie softwoods these past two years. They certainly aren't anywhere close to what I'm willing to pay.
Bogieb, What is the price of Okanagon's at your local Aubuchon? My local store seemed to imply that he would sell Okanagon's for $239/ton. My local store is selling 100% Software MWP SuperPremium for $239/ton.
I don't remember, maybe around $280 or $290? I just remember that even with the $20 gift card, I knew I could get pellets that work really well f0r my situation for less. Course by the bag is much more expensive at about $7.
