I see what your saying about him. But it would be possible to cut it and keep the compressor and coils all on one side I would think? Just depends on the design I guess?

Possibly, but that'd definitely be a last resort. I don't know much about refrigeration and stuff. Plus It'd be easier to cushion in the truck in one piece. Funny how long it looked, I was thinking how am I gonna secure it with the tailgate down but when I measured it in was way off and then my thought was cushioning it so it doesn't slam around. Haha.

Morning all. Damp drizzle going on outside. Hopefully it stays that way and not bucket down while we are walking. I think the dogs are still in bed. Grass is greening up quite quickly with the rain we have been getting. I got it mowed on Sunday as it was nice and dry out. the blackberries are really looking to take over the yard as we didn't do much yard work this summer. Next spring, there will be an assault on them. Didn't get any picked either. Ah well, there is next summer.

Cool here but that danged humidity seems to be staying really high and has been since July. Even when it is cool, it does not take much to work up a sweat.

Dennis, I don’t remember a year like this before with the unceasing humidity. By now we should have had days where you could be outside and get some things done, and had the windows open and let the cool dry breeze run through the house. I’ve had the A/Cs running all morning. Hoping the humidity breaks soon.

I agree Al. We do tend to get the most humid weather in August and September but usually there are some breaks. Not so this year. But fortunately we don't have to run the air conditioners a lot here, or at least most times until it gets close to 90. Then it is on for sure. But most nights we can sleep with the bedroom windows open. Last night as we laid there reading a deer kept snorting at us. They like to come at least twice a day to scarf up the acorns off the white oaks.

Two days off. Repair job to our parents roof. Luckily the lower one. My oldest brother is home from N.C. and we are taking care of it. He is home for one week. Hopefully we will also build some stairs up to the loft in our horse barn. He is better at stairs than I.

If it goes like it has been recently we won't get a fall...straight from running AC to heat, and then straight from heat to AC in the "spring" :hair:

Probably so. If the extended forecast is even close the temperature here falls off a cliff in the matter of 2 weeks.

I finished installing the last six pieces of wood trim in the kitchen after 19 years. I told my wife the labor rate was cheap, so there should be no complaints.

It's almost due for a remodel now.

That deer must have been close to the bedroom to be snorting at you. I’ve gotten close enough to a fawn to have that happen. The doe came out of the brush and scared the you know what outta me.
