Scored some nice big oak rounds from a guy down the street. At least 15 of them all about this size. Might have bent my carry all just a touch. 20180915_132505.jpg 20180915_125533.jpg

Oops. Should have labelled "Carrymost" instead of "Carryall" I guess. Sorry about the wounded equip!ent, but nice score anyway! Loads of splits in the biguns.

Yeah came from TSC, it wasn't even one of the real big pieces. I was just telling the wife the other day that I needed a set of pallet forks.
I think I can do a little heat and beat to straighten it and then weld some pieces to stiffen it up some.

Didn't want to noodle it in the guys driveway.

That's what I'm thinking needs support where it kinked.

damm, I've been considering one of those instead of a trailer for hauling firewood in the Winter a quarter mile out of the woods and up a steep hill. 1,000 pound capacity is a bit of a stretch it would appear.I've got an artillian fork frame to swap with the bucket but I'd like to do a bit more of a load than what my pistons can pick up each trip.

Nice rounds. Handling those with the bucket is the best way. I've moved some over 44" that way.

jetjr Did you try lifting the whole tree trunk or one round?
I have the same ones from TSC and have lifted a whole skid of green red oak no problem
I would return them to Tractor supply as defective. No way one round should have bent one side!

Just a round, I too carry whole pallets of wood like you do with mine. Think it may have been a weight distribution issue. The round may have been more to the end of that side as it was moving.
