After all of Canadian border VT 's recent posts on anniversary and BD gifts? Fie on you man, fie!

 

A great time today. We checked out a lot of nice cars, trucks, and a few motorcycles. Then had a late lunch at a restaurant right on the river in Clayton called Bella’s. Sat on the back porch/deck and looked out over the St. Lawrence River while eating great food. I had one cold beer and one of the best tasting burgers I’ve eaten. Side of pasta salad was delicious too. Then I let the kids grab some homemade desserts on the way out the door. They were big enough for my wife and I to get a bite from them too! Needless to say I ate a little more than I should have. Checked out some nice gift shops and the like and headed home. Where it was time for me to get to work.......on cutting some Zs in my chair!

 

OUCH !!!!!!!.................................... if you think your back is gonna give you grief.......just wait.................... He$$ hath no greater fury than a woman scorned on anniversary day. Man, I'm glad I'm not you...........................

 

Seems counter intuitive heading into harvest season, but these guys were sitting where I stack wood in the garage so I had to make room and I didn't want to stow them fueled. So I drained them and ran'm dry to put in the attic of the garage.
For work saws, I love the 359's so they'll stay at the ready.

Still thinking first fire in October.

Beach vacation is over. Back to the real world.

 

I tried the first one again and it worked. Nice saws M2theB ! I didn’t here any banjos though.

 

What a beautiful day today. We spent the day on the lake. Simply beautiful weather, the lake water level went down enough that the launch pier wasn't under water, and there was no "slow no wake" ordinance in effect. Both of those major issues just cleared up this week as it finally stopped raining.

 

Okay that's a biggie!

Think of something real sweet like her favorite flower or plant that you can put up on the land in New Hampshire. And say that's where you're going to start your next life life and your second honeymoon together..
Where you going to focus on having less stress and being a better husband!!!

 

Really proves how bad I've screwed up in the past huh!! I am working on deserving my beautiful wife!

Seen today that the local ACE Hardware/Stihl store sells firewood now...$0.75...per split!
If they seem to be moving some I'm totally gonna start selling wood...and mine is longer than theirs, so I should be able to charge $1 per...ima be a millionaire!

That is a great idea. Or if you guys are in stages of planning the house/property, and having discussions on a particular area where her wants and your wants conflict, concede to what she wants (gracefully man, gracefully - it is a present after all ).
