I told mg wife this. Im 150 miles inland and no trees to hit house. Now off spawn tornadoes.... But i told her its a good thing the small shed is not stacked out, i expect a few trees down. And i can fit 3 cords or so into that shed that needs filling (not this years woid, hopefully 3 years or more down road).

But depending on how it makes landfall and the trjectory, it will have outer bands over me long before its out of the ocean. Hurricane forece winds are like 100 mile diameter, TS winds around 200 miles the whole thing is like 400+

Yesterday featured a couple hours of mostly/partly cloudy about midday.
That was the first hour of sunshine since last Friday.
I'm not exaggerating. It's been overcast (with sometimes rain, heavy rain, fog, drizl), around the clock.
Forecast is for more of the same, but not a high confidence forecast.

p.s. I would post this to my local weather board, but it has been down all morning, very likely due to hurricane traffic.

Balmy weather again in the tropical paradise of Saskatchewan. Was a few degrees above freezing overnight, currently sitting at 5 C or 40 F.

7 days straight of rain will do that. I had a green menards pail on my patio and it filled up by the last day of rain Admittedly it's not a perfect rain gauge but clearly we got a lot of rain Killed all my zucchini and made it near impossible to get to the peppers and cucumbers. Back yard is still squishy two weeks after

This having fires thing sees to be a trend as the cool fall continues. Sitting at 3 C or 37 F with rain, 15-20 mph wind, and only supposed to go up 2 more degrees today.

Is you yard really wet? Are the holes deep or can you see the bottom? You might have some crayfish in your yard.

Still 3 C or 37 F here. Might get snow tonight (it's on the radar, but who knows) but temps supposed to stay above freezing, so it can't last even if it falls. Again, still weirded out by the cool weather. Average weather for this time should be 15-16 C or 60 F for daytime highs. Stoves is eating all those ugly chunks of wood though.
