I would love to come over one time to one of the gtg’s but unfortunately I am right in the middle of my own project at the moment.

Once my bank account and annual leave balance recovers I will have to get a passport so in the future I can fly over the puddle!

We have a relatively small yard, so as long as we keep an eye on them, it wouldn't be a big deal at all....

Yep we're just south of Tyrone around 5 miles. If we do decide to do it, you can bring a dessert if you like but not required.....

It's not going to be a big shindig, we WILL plan one of those next year when the pizza oven is done.....but it would be nice to see whoever can make it!

I'm still trying to figure out what weekend we can do it, it's crazy-busy this time of year.....

Well I'd sure love to come. I did just get new tires on the Tundra but Tacoma to Tyrone is a rather extensive break in drive....

Wish I could make it, but it’s a bit of a haul from here. Once a weekend is locked down maybe I can get a better idea of it a possibility. Hope you get all that wood taken care of.

If I can get the day off, I'd be more than happy to partake in the split fest. :axe::axe:

No I won’t Dennis, the thread about your get together last year was the one that first inspired me. So I better start thinking about that passport soon, And hope and pray that my budget for the shed / garage-mahal does not blow out any further.

The first weekend in October would be my vote. If it gets set in stone, I believe I can make the journey!

Right now,it hinges on my son's cross country schedule. He's a senior this year, I don't wanna miss any meets that I can make. I need to see when the big invitational meet is....

I'll have it figured out this weekend. I'm hoping we can swing something, I'd love to see a group here! Could be the start of something good for the mid-Atlantic members!

Well guys and gals, it can't happen quite yet. I haven't been on here much, had a streak of bad luck the past several weeks.

My truck blew the engine about a month ago, and one setback after another had me down. I bought a replacement engine, finally got it installed, only two days later to have the oil pan pop two leaks!! There was not one, but TWO pinholes that rusted through the bottom, almost lost that second engine!!

So I changed that out on Saturday morning, but all this stuff has pushed back tree work, and has sapped my kitty DRY.

I'll see what the coming weeks bring us, might still do a splitter party but it may not be until the beginning of November.....

On a good note, it looks like we might be able to make it to Walt's GTG, so I'm kinda excited about that!

Glad you caught those pinhole leaks. That would have been terrible to lose another engine after already being down once. I’m fighting a similar sort of issue with the transmission in my wife’s explorer. Good luck getting back on track again.
