I'm in the process of building a flying crank ghost for my halloween display this year.

I have 2 more reindeer motors to use on other props. I'm thinking about making one where a skull will peek out from behind the bushes.

This year I've picked up some more cool swirling lights, 2 projectors and a nice graveyard fence and gate prop that someone built but were moving so they were selling off some of their props.

    Here's my graveyard fence

I want to build one of these laser vortex effects next and have it in the graveyard

Here's what the house looked like last halloween. This year I have 4 total color lights that I plan on using to light up the trees.

My grave slab. This will be moved into the graveyard this year

Yeah we're upping the Christmas display this year too. We didn't do much at the old house since the kids were younger and there weren't any other kids in the neighborhood. At the current house theres so many kids that are my kids ages.

We always went light on Halloween and big for Xmas at the old house and now this newer one. But I hear you with the kids, my old neighborhood we got a few kids, not much on Halloween. But at our current house the neighborhood is loaded with kids it seems. Halloween is a happening around here! Now that I can make it up to the top roof they are probably getting lights this year. It's a lot of work but man I love Xmas and the kids just love it. Now that they are older they are gonna be outside helping Dad this year

We went from having a ton of extra candy to running out last year lol. I could count the number of kids who went around in the old neighborhood over the 8 years we were there on both hands.

chitty part is my wife said I'm not allowed to make the display too scary since the kids are still younger. Then I reminded her about not having extra candy last year lol. Still a no go :(

    Get off my lawn.
    :BrianK:

There are no trick or treaters where we live, only a handful or more where we lived in city.

Guess it saves on the electric bill though.

    Nice decorations.

When we moved to the current house a few years back that 1st Halloween we had a ton of candy because us knuckle heads forgot to leave it out for the kids and went out all night trick or treating. Last year we left it out for the kids and went through a bunch. My wife isn't into Halloween much and she's always telling me not too scary kids are too little as well, LOL!

20161031_175048.jpg Fantastic y'all! I love Halloween! We live in the sticks so there's not many kids around. We have to take our little one to our main street. It's really cool, they shut down the entire street and all of the shops hand out candy. It's a pretty big todo.

those pics are from when we lived out in the country, we decorated to have 2 parties, one for family one for friends. In 10 years we never even had one trick or treater.
The first ones are from when we moved back into town, we get roughly 400 kids a year.
