    That was me yesterday, thankfully I was able to sleep last night so I can have my head on right while trying to figure out this new customer I took on this morning.

    September is really flying by for sure.

    Plastic pallets! :yes: It took me years to get enough plastic pallets for 12 cord of wood, but it's good now! Dam termites here ate my wood pallets so fast I was replacing them very couple years. :eek:

    Yep.... they definitely have a place in my stacks... our customer just throws these away... just not heavy enough to do much with... but for wood they work just fine.

    Pouring rain again this morning and the power was off for a couple of hours in the middle of the night. Back to work again today. I am glad I have an inside job.
    Yesterday the Blue Jays won, the Mariners won, Houston lost and I finished one knitting project and started another. I made turkey chili for lunch today so we will see how that tastes.
    Everyone have a good week.

    Thanks Dave, but I left N.J. in 1982 vowing to never step foot in it again, if at all possible. Last relative moved out of there last year so I have left the "Armpit of the Earth" behind forever..............................:rofl: :lol:

    Slept in a bit this morning after working some crazy hours over the last three days. Then moved the woodsplitter back into the barn.
    32A58AF2-8F3F-4E4E-AB48-24F51DE1D5C1.jpeg My son has finished splitting and stacking the firewood. I’ll grab a few more face cord of Ash off the property that is small enough it doesn’t even need splitting. Burn that late winter/spring.

    Then changed up the three point hitch attachment to the pallet forks and moved some things around on pallets.

    Then changed to the brush hog and did some mowing. 8BBAD5D4-CEA7-4DA7-9E82-728DD8690356.jpeg Cut most of the trails and then put it away. The rain should be here in the next hour or two. A productive first half of the day. Break time for lunch. Then maybe some work inside the barn.

    Daughter and her fiancé will be heading out of Myrtle Beach area and heading a good distance Northwest to wait out the storm. Evacuation orders already given. Saying prayers for their safety and everyone’s in Florence’s path. I think they will head out Tuesday after work.
