Washed the Kaw 450R today and the Honda 400 last week. Added a new DMC Alien exhaust to the 400 and it sounds and performs great!

I had a Pro Curcuit exhaust on it for about 15 years, switched to a Yoshi this Spring and got a great deal on the DMC! Sounds and preforms great!

My HOG Chapter and dealer participate in the Nation of Patriots flag tour. Yesterday was a gorgeous day for riding as we took a very long time to go essentially 30 miles to advance the flag to its next destination. Pics taken at a gas/rest stop.

First time in 2 weeks I have been on the bike so it was nice to take a vacation day and have it sunny and in the low 80's. Started with a breakfast (donations for the N of P), go on the ride, then have a late lunch cooked for us by the receiving parties. I left the house at 7:30 and got home at 3:45. Only did about 200 miles, but there was great scenery and we even got a police and fire fighter escort the last 13 miles. All those cars held up in construction zones hated our azzes I'm sure as we went straight thru, riding right past the waiting cars.

Someone got a picture of me during the ride yesterday - first pic I've had in 2 years. I'm the closest bike to the picture taker. That is a merlot sunglow color - sometimes looks black, sometimes burgundy, sometimes deep red and almost always some color of metal flakes show up (green, gold, orange).

Yesterday, after riding, I decided to give the bike a wash. It actually started as getting the bugs off with Bug Slide but it still looked nasty. I had also recently ridden over some loose hot patch, so decided it was time to pull out the hose.

The bike looks so different with the saddlebags off.

Yep, she was nasty - and remember, I had already removed the worst of the dirt with Bug Slide.

    Dry, shiny and re-assembled.

This picture freaked me out when I downloaded it onto my computer. I saw in the fairing that someone had snuck up and was standing on the other side of the driveway watching me. After enlarging the photo, I realized it was just a reverse reflection of me from the curve in the fairing. Then I also noticed that there are upside down legs below the main reflection

In the field beside this plot of sunflowers, they were setting up a huge double size tent top. Must be planning a wedding.

My wife and I took a ride today. We headed south toward the river then went through Shawnee State forest. We rode around 5 miles on roads like this until we came out on the other side. Nice relaxing ride, about 130 miles.

Got my daughter to help pressure wash for the first time! Almost blew her off her feet the first time she pulled the trigger!

But I showed her to put a foot back to anticipate that force. She did so well after that. It was like she had done it for years!

Also added some fat 1 1/8" bars, new grips, and bar pad to my 200X. It will be for sale this Spring. Never planned on keeping it. Just want to get it as nice as possible to sell and get a nice 250R. Whether it's an ATC or TRX model.

Installed a light kit today. It turned out really nice. The three modes at the end that didn’t power lights, work off sound so when the bike runs, they flash with the exhaust. Couldn’t get good vid outside. I think he’ll be very happy.
