My well, 16 foot deep well is doing good. Two years ago, we ran out of water for a month. Life changes then, more than city folk could ever imagine.

I am so tired of this summer and want it to end. I need some cool, dry weather now!

So most of the apple orchards here in Adams County are on mountainous lands. All this rain has produced an amazing crop. Here’s some pics I snapped on the way home from work today. I’m tellin ya, it’s a pretty sight.

It has just sucked here all summer. When it's not raining it's smoldering hot and humid. Yuck.

We had some roads washed out again and the town of Glen Rock flooded pretty bad this last batch we had. Seems like it's either oppressively hot or wetter that all get out.

This is literally unbelievable. It started raining here on Friday night, and to my knowledge, it has not stopped yet. It isn't a downpour, but it is a steady soaking rain, and the forecast at present says we will have gotten like .1 - .15 inches an hour the whole time. Over 6 inches on already wet everything.

Well, you might not like this one either... Hurricane Florence. I know forecast rainfall is higher to our south, but the one rainfall forecast map showed us in a 6-8 inch area. Just in time for the weekend, too.

I might just have to do some splitting during the rain... since it rains all the time, I don't have any other opportunities to get it done! UGH!

I know that storm will likely bring some too. We average like 45 inches per year here, and not including today i think we are at about 44 so far this year. Certainly makes it hard to process, but I am glad I have this year's supply under roof.

I was supposed to be camping (in a pop-up) in OCMD for bike week. Thinking about cancelling. 90% chance of rain thurs, fri, sat, 50% sun, 60% mon. If we get any serious winds, tree's are going to be uprooting all over the place.

Just got a video from the boardwalk at OC from a friend, and it is half covered in sand dunes at present, with that storm projecting to hit the Carolinas, they likely will get some more rough weather.
