I'm sure that titles been worked to death. I had decided to leave this tree as there’s so much other nice wood to grab. Butt I changed my mind and went for it this morning. Get it off the guys yard for him. His neighbors a jerk but that’s no reason to renege on my word to him. Three loads today. 1 more still there. And I forgot to take a pic before dumping sooooooo
Was a dying tree. It certainly does seem dry. Nothing better than wood you can split and toss straight down the cellar
I didn't have a moisture meter previously, and I always took the last week of August off to get the firewood done. That said, I never had an issue with the ash I burned. Primarily the reason I like it so much. Of course, our old stove wasn't finicky either.
I’m not totally kidding here. I’ve done it once before. Was bringing the moisture meter into the woods. Found a few small dead oaks that were dryer standing than anything in my stacks. Split and toss straight down the hole. LOL
Winch, snatchblock and that support arm in the back. First time I’ve pulled the rear tires of my 2500 off the ground. LOL
