    Well, here's a bargain!

    Wood Splitter - $100 (Keyser)

I have a brand new Log Aug unicorn wood splitter. The splitter goes under the rear tire of your car and free spins. Here is a video I found of the exact one set up, running.

I have 4 total, selling for $100 each. Buy as many as you want. As long as you see this listing I still have some available. Call or text 3zero4-eight13- 17sixfour.

For a hundred bucks, it might be worth buying to mount a Capstan Drum on it to try to use it as Capstan Rope Winch.

Yup I've seen a lot of injuries on those personally. You never think it will happen and then BAM your on your butt bleeding or worse...... Sorry Brian just can't see one of those and not take a sec to point that out.

A hundred bucks eh? Maybe I could buy all 4 and use 1 under each wheel of my wifes AWD SUV or my 4x4 pickup. Then me and my buddies would be real productive like on splittin' day.

Better yet just drive around the woods with them attached at 50mph you'll either get firewood or dead rabbits. Win Win I'd say.

And yes I know they don't really attach...

I think the issue is not with the splitter, but with the lack of a safe work station from which to run the splitter. Just a few ideas come to mind, however, they would all likely include a grapple for handling the rounds and feeding them into the splitter from a safe distance, a clear shield (bullet proof glass perhaps) and an air conditioned cab from which one can run the whole operation.

You could strap a person with a shovel at then end of an articulated arm to facilitate digging a deep hole, but it's much safer to just put a bucket at the end of that arm and run your backhoe from the cab..

gota wonder how many dents and broken windows were caused along with the injuries on those things. And I'll bet at least one car jumped when the other wheels werent blocked and took off on its own.

This is not a chainsaw first and second yes the splitters are far safer. Granted its in the person using it.....

The notorious Bark Buster! I love the big guard over the belt drive. Glad to see they were concerned for the operators safety when they designed that unit!

Rookie, how do you feel about using that thing? Personally, it's not my cup of tea..... Way too much can go very wrong, very fast.

I only used it a few times. I was OK with it. You have to be on your A game when using it. I may get it back from my Dad soon, his birthday is coming up and Ill get it out of his garage. :)

I have used one (bark Buster) a lot can't see where a safe operator is going to get hurt with one. Mine is chain drive to a cintrifical clutch. If it gets hung on a log the clutch slips. You shut it down and unscrew the log.
