It’s just 73 degrees here now but the humidity is 89%. Been sweating all day when working outside. A/C running inside most of the day.

I had a chance to break out the new Grapple today. Had to drive 20 minutes to get some flat face fittings and get it hooked up correctly. And it was good to go after that. I had a chance to try it out for a while and it is a little different than my last one. Take a bit to get use to. But a real heavy duty rock grapple.

Hopefully I’ll post up some pictures of it tomorrow while getting some work done with it!

The humiditidy (sic) is killing us. Tomorrow it’ll be in the 90s with humidity to match. Two days we’ll be staying in the a/c, for sure.

Took me about 12 hours to get there with stops. Wife and three kids means lots of rest stops. And I tend to get hungry sometimes too. :emb:

I'm officially done with summer. Heat, humidity, and skeeters are free to leave.

Thanks. We had a great time. We only had three days there. Spent every bit with kids and grand kids. Then had to get back home.

We had a great anniversary dinner, met more people that know people we hang out with too. I stopped on my way home from work and bought some Roederer bubbly and a flower arrangement for my wife.

I got home, and my wife had bought me a nice orchid for my collection.

Caffeine going in. Breakfast with Dad this morning.

Then hopefully get some work done with tractor this morning before it gets too hot.

I believe I’ll be retreating into the house to enjoy the air conditioning this afternoon. Suppose to go to 87 with a humidity level in the mid 90s. :picard:The humidity level is currently 96%!o_O

We got a little rain last night. Dat a gooder thing. My new grass is coming up.:dex:

Over cast day this morning but the weather has been nice. We are dog sitting our granddog as the kids are out on a west coast kayak trip. Nova Scotia Duck Toller and she sheds all over the place. It has been a while since we had long haired shedding dogs. We got rain on the weekend and we are suppose to get more this week. Didn't amount to much though. We need rain to get the fish up the rivers right now. The sockeye are running heavy and they need higher levels of river water to go up and spawn.

We got a bit of rain overnight. I had 1.3 inches of rain in my rain gauge but La Crosse, WI just a few miles south got a bit over 3 inches and south of town they got 6+ inches. South east of La Crosse they may have gotten up to 11 inches of rain last night. Major flooding happening in Coon Valley and points east of there. Horkn , how did you make out last night? I saw the south east part of the state got a lot of rain last night as well. More rain is forecast to come later today and tonight. If you are in an area that is getting a lot of flooding, stay safe.

Had some pretty bad insomnia the past couple nights. Too much rattling around in the ol' noggin, I guess. Slept from 12-4 two nights ago and 11-2 last night. Starting to feel it today.
