Skid steer backhoe attachment...

    I think it'll work much better on a skidsteer with tracks. The ones with tires don't lift much without becoming front-heavy. By the time you fill that bucket 6' in front of you, I'm guessing the rear tires will be off the ground.
    Handy to have though for little stuff that needs to happen

    I've run equipment all my life . I have a 30000lb track hoe and in clay you have to take layers off instead of burying the bucket. I can't see a skid steer putting enough down pressure to efficiently dig in anything other than topsoil. A lot of guys buy those and regret it. If your sold on the idea Id watch for a used one
    on Craigslist or eBay cheap or maybe rent one before you buy to see if it will do what you want

    I'm not sold on it...don't even own a SS, just never seen one before and thought I'd ask if anybody else had seen and or used one...and yeah, clay sucks to dig...especially when its been real dry!
