Back to the Bricks 8-18-18

Main attraction is Saturday the 18th. there are many lots for certien cars like Buick back to thre Bricks off water street by Durant house, factory #1.
That is where we will be with our Buick .

On the news this morning they interview members of the Corvette club who are in there own lot also.
The model A and T's and simular cars by other makers get a lot also.
As well as the drag raceing crowd.

If you see our Buick and a fat guy in a bag chair behind stop and say hello.

We were invited to park with the Buicks by a Michigan Buick club member. I am very happy we got the invite as I did go and walk a bit of Saginaw and what a crouded place that was. My pictures of it didn't do it Justus.

Considered GM factory # 1 in the back ground.

1985 Buick LeSabre limited collector edition. This one had a rare solid paint color, rare wheels and leather seats.



1985 Buick LeSabre limited collectors edition. Pretty much a standard car with hub caps and two tone paint. Both had the optional Oldsmobile 307,7 engine. Our coupe was the only coupe at the show. there were only 27,000 Coupes made and 48,000 sedans made.

The yellow rag top was the last Buick on Water street and ajoining lots.
There were a few Buicks up on Saginaw for what ever reason, not invited by a Buick club member, wanting to park with a non Buick owner friend or some thing else altogether.

The Pictures I took of Saginaw street and the side streets does in no way do justics to the amount of people there.

Last count I got was 178 Buicks on Water street and ajoining lots. 697 cars/trucks on Saginaw street side streets and the flat lots.

Estmate of 68,000 wondered Saginaw Street, side streets and the flat lots.
