Ok argued with wife.. Had a So it looks like this now Not time for words rains coming.. Window was rotted and not working.. So
Skil, recip, and 260 with bad chain.. There is a nice 12 by 20 deck.. I bet I won't hear a word about windows for a few months.. Was always going to be door eventually.. But it was hot window crank stripped, 120 for parts to fix. 75 more for new door.. Wife might be or . In a few hours.. Her mom is in, sister coming with 2 boys.. Or she might say if done and wine is waiting..
Woulda been great to have a neighbor or passerby see you doing that, and see the look on their face. While we're all like.
Chaz .. Neighbor did stopped by grab 4 inch hole saw.. His broke .. He helped plum door before he left.. Trim will be wide... true 2 by 6 cedar wall stud, 1.5 inch foam outside plus vinyl and rock so 9.5 inch wide..
Nice, did you get the blinds between the glass??? you know thats what she wanted.................. I prefer to put the jamb extensions on the outside so the latch does not rub the interior jamb. if she is not going to be home until 7:30 you could remove and rehang it. Nice that you raised the threshold so the door has enough clearance for a throw rug. You did remember locksets right? keyed to match the front door.
All doors have locks, just where are the keys.. ironpony yes I prefer doors that way as well.. however, I am a little OCD, and 1 day (actually a couple) will re hang all doors in house. Not this week. Reason is there are 7 yes 7 exterior doors in house. It makes sense if you see house. Multi level (5) all have at least 1 exterior door. Also house is weird!! 2 by 6 studs are cedar, you can smell it when cutting them. House was cedar sided originally. Also if I told my wife, I was going to commit 3 extra days to that, instead of finishing some other projects from house fire, before winter, She would have me committed. Time is because house and trim is not standard. So it requires table saw, and planer to make each piece of trim to fit.
