No kidding on that. You see a hunting show where they have warm weather, shoot a deer or whatever game animal, and go back to find it in the morning. No thanks.

It didn't cost me a dime to go.....I used to be a competition trap shooter....I won my class in the Pennsylvania State Shoot n since I did so well.... one of the guys from our trap club took me along for free since I did so well at the P.S.S.
The place we went to was basically starting up n from what I understand...was pretty resonable. Now its for the rich n famous.
It might have been hot....however....it was an awesome experience....gourmet chef, open bar, etc.
I never paid a dime to hunt whitetail n never will !
T.Jeff Veal stated its a novelty...maybe so...but just about NOBODY needs to hunt to survive today !

Man those guys on the coast that run dogs will let those things lay out for hours till they catch the dogs and then go back and gut them. I'm talking hours in 90+ heat.

I have had to do that. Sadly I don't eat the meat at that point. I don't choose to do it that way but have had some get up at run and even the follow up shot they didn't go down, so I backed out. Came back in morning. It was cool for here maybe 30s but it was warmwr that afternoon. To me it's just not worth risking getting sick.

Wow , crazy. I know your way up there but just still hard to beleive. Each day this week i think its been over 90f. Water still warm. You can easy use the lake on through september before it starts to cool too much, and then it probaly is warm by your standards.

That was a nice gift for winning and I'll bet it was fun, for a one time thing. I too hate the thought of having to pay someone to hunt but it seems over the years there is getting to be more and more of that. Around here there is a lot of land that is leased just for hunting. One big problem with leases is that if you shoot a deer and it manages to cross the line, most will not allow you to go on that land to get the deer and that is sad.

70's sound so much better! However, it is now 75 here but the dewpoint is 69 and humidity is 79. A bit warmer and we'd have a sauna.

clemsonfor now lake is 69.2 degrees, it dropped below 70 couple days ago.. It was hottest July on record. Average water temp in September 15th will be 60. We generally hit 90 less than 10 times a year but only for a few hours a day like 4 to 7 pm.

In short You NEED a pool, here they really only get used maybe 5 to 6 weeks of year..

Don't let him kid you. People up here can use a pool May through September too. The difference is that up here people have to heat the water.
