    Heavy fog again this morning. It didn't quite clear to sunny skies yesterday as we have smoke in the sky. British Columbia has 600 fires burning in the province. We have about 4 up here. Fortunately ours are not near any towns but the smoke adds to the fog.

    Well the rain held off until 2P today, so I got my EDPM rubber scrubbed off ( Bon Ami worked great) and some big birch rounds halved and cleaned up. I'm having to take off the bark, which is rotten, and a little punk on the outside too. Using a hammer and chisel in a wading pool to catch the trash. That's the slow part, splitting goes fast.
