IMG_0284.JPG Had one bag left while rifling through the freezer, baby red potatoes and some fresh yellow corn.
It's taking the required hot tub soak of 30mins to absorb some of the zatarains oil.
There will be a small side hot tub of butter as well

Crab is becoming my favorite shellfish. I have even scanned the internet recently to learn how to farm raise them. That means I could relocate to the mountains and eat seafood!!!

I can barely cook frozen pizza! Ok, maybe not that bad but I did once burn chicken dumpling soup! Don't even get my family started on my cooking, on holidays it's always a joke...Sarah can bring the drinks...:emb:

Cooking crab is basically boiling water - adding salt and what ever flavoring you prefer, oh and a couple tablespoons of white vinegar - makes the meat pick easier

I never added vinegar to the water. It was haul them out of the ocean, cleaned them and into a boiling pot of water. I had to clean them and put them in the boiling water as Campinspecter couldn't stand the screaming of the crabs! lol  the only downside was that the boat smelt like crab for the rest of the evening.

You should try it(2TB vinegar/5TB salt/2.5qt water (good for 5lbs)- you can't notice the flavor and after they soak for 30mins(boil vigorously for 5) there is a noticeable difference in how easy the meat pulls
