Yeah, it needs a bit of fuel also.

Will definitely take a bit to get used to the BH, and it's too small a unit for some roots, but I'll be able to get a lot done with it.

Will now spend some RTFM time.
    And blue smoothies of course.

BTW, just want you all to know how evil Chazsbetterhalf is.

She's been in contact with him, and he said about delivering it today.
She didn't inform me at all.
    o_O

So she disappears to guide him to the house, I'm off with Holly and the ATV.

Holly goes running back to house and alerting, I come around house on ATV to see the tractor coming up the driveway on his trailer.
    :bug:

    She got me.
    :rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:

Chaz If you ever want to go to SSQA from your pin on, pm me. I just recently did it on my tractor. It should be even easier for you than it was for me and my L3710.

It is a thought, but may put that off till next year.

First additions are looking to be the thumb for the backhoe, and undercarriage protection.

If anyone has any links to cheaper stuff than the bxpanded.com pieces I linked to, pls lemme know.
I want to order this stuff as soon as possible, have need of the thumb quickly, and the undercarriage protection just seems smart to me.

Did find one issue already, for some reason the parking brake mechanism hits the housing for the steering shaft bearing, making it nearly impossible to engage.
    Is this a known issue??

I have figured a way to "fix" it, but will stop by the Kubota dealer here and ask about it first.

Chazsbetterhalf decided to take a video of my newbie backhoe work when I was digging out a couple of small stumps.

    Hopefully that link works.

Heres some pics of parking brake issue.

Pic 1.. parking brake not applied

    IMG_20180808_153428728.jpg

The lever just right of center.
The housing directly to the left is the bearing pillow block (housing) that it hits.

Pic 2.. parking brake attempting to set.

    IMG_20180808_153439261.jpg

You can see the lever makes contact.

Pic 3.. the holding mechanism that should engage the brake pedal assembly to keep brake engaged.

    IMG_20180808_153617739.jpg

Pic 4.. better shot of engagement lever

    IMG_20180808_153606322.jpg

But since the one lever hits the housing, the second cannot engage brake pedal assembly well.
