Another FB marketplace score. Decent load of oak logs. Back up and winch them onboard. There’s still a couple loads there but I’ll probably leave them be. I want to build a snatchblock arm system on the back before I deal with any more pickups. Besides it’s hot and I have other duties that need attending to. Plus wood is going to be plentiful around here soon enough. Gypsie moths killed a lot of trees just west of me alongside the road and in the forest.

Hahahahaha tell the wife I’m sorry,,,,,almost.
In my area there’s more wood on there than CL. All around more stuff than CL. I stole that winch for half price never used still in the box on FB. Didn’t even try to get the guy to lower his price.
And it automatically informs me whenever there’s a new product in my searches. You’ll like it.

Awesome score. Facebook marketplace has definitely proven to be a better source of free wood for me than Craigslist has been lately. I happened to check it earlier today and found at least 3 free scrounges all fairly close to my house.....

What gets me are the personal arguments. Some newlyweds on my wife's FB just had a MAJOR financial fight out in front of everyone. It's like no dignity whatsoever.

That is why I have few friends on farcebook. I usually spend about 2 or 3 minutes on there when I peek in to see if anything is happening with grandchildren.

I never had MySpace, Facebook, Instagram or any other “social media.” There are some benefits, i.e. marketplace like you guys just highlighted; but I don’t trust it. Never have. And seeing Mark Zuckerberg get his azzz hauled before Congress to explain how he is monetizing your private info affirmed my decision not to have it.
But, dang nice scores for you guys that use that marketplace feature!

I admit, I have a problem. I check marketplace and Craigslist at least twice a day looking for scores. Now if my wife were to walk up to the woodyard, I would have a bigger problem. On the other hand, the money we save by burning wood is happily spent by her on Amazon.
