That's not bad. Remember, I'm in NY, land of never-ending taxes.

Yes, and one of these days soon, I'll be one of them. Just talked to older daughter tonight about checking out N.C. around Lake Norman area.

I wouldn't blame you one bit for moving to an area where you feel life will be better for you. Does your daughter live in that area?

Any suggestions on quieting my Eco65? It's in the our "big" room that is kitchen, living room, and computer desk, we spend all our time out here.

Yes. The friend of mine of over 45 yrs and his wife, son, and his sons girlfriend & daughter all moved there last year. Racing was part of that decision. Moving to that area will keep me in touch with them and get me back into racing more often, along with much nicer winters.

Got home last night at 6:10 and the rain gauge showed 2.5". At 6:44 it showed 2.75" and it rained (lightly) until I left this morning at 4:15. My garage floor has puddles, my backyard has ponds, the swamp next door is draining very loudly with all the rain I've had in the last 10 days (somewhere around 8"). They can change the weather track at any time - I'd send the next storm or two to CA if I could.

You nail everything every time! I conveniently forgot, I turned the fan speed up several times over the last couple years to move air better, worked great except a stiff breeze in your face while sitting on the recliner or couch was unpleasant, and the fan was louder. I ended up setting the plenum cover cockeyed instead, so it blows straight up, moves the warm air off the ceiling, still circulates the room, and not dry out your eyes. I never turned it back down.
