News man just said there's a flash flood watch in effect after 12 noon today. Predicted 2" of rain by Friday. :hair: This one is supposed to bring damaging winds.

Yep, and now it's after Noon. Clouding up but no rain yet in G-berg. Bigger swath of rain comes later this evening, it appears. I don't think the ground will be dry till next year.

Bucks County here. OK water-wise. I just want to say this weather is why I can't wait for the Summer to end. Hot, humid and a chance for rain every day. I only want the rain when it's a cold front coming to drive the humidity out.

The worse is headed strait for my area. I can handle the water, it's the wind that makes me nervous. If it knocks out electricity, I have to get the gas powered pump ready to keep my basement dry. And also have to worry about my huge maple coming down on my house.. wish I could climb! It's been thinned twice but it's due again.

Another 1.5" this afternoon and more overnight and tomorrow morning. I have a "tree guy" coming tomorrow morning to give me a quote to drop 6 mature trees that are close to the house/power line. I want to get the trees removed before replacing my roof.:makeitrain"

I blew my nose and skeeters came out of my sinuses... literally hundreds would be on u at all times. The things i do to kill those teeny sika deer we have lol!

I had a partial stack colapse and another that’s about to go. The rain softened the ground so much, 1/2 of a skid runner sunk the whole way into the ground. Pics to come. :hair:

Well, look at it this way. You just get more practice on your stacking methods.

I will not like that statement! :zip: I think if we hadn’t stacked it so well, it would have fell.

Spent a good 3 hours+ fixing it this morning. Boy is it smoldering hot!

That had to be a lot of work. I have some stacking to do shortly and hoping it will cool off a bit before I start. Will probably do the splitting that needs to be done first but I have already a bunch of split wood that has just been waiting for me to stack it.

DANG IT! This stupid hot wet weather killed one of my sheep this weekend and several others are sick. Hot and wet leads to problems with stomach worms in sheep. They can die within 1-2 weeks and frequently don't show much if any signs until they keel over. We learned this the hard way. Working on nursing the rest back to health. I sure hope we get some cooler drier weather soon.

This weather isn't fit for man nor beast. RIP sheep, they are your pets.
