It's been in the 80s and 90s... can I start burning my pellet stove now??

    Yes. Some corn, and then plenty of cool dry weather. This humidity needs to go.

    I got ten dozen+ this week. yumm
    put 7 qt bags in the freezer yesterday.
    should get the rest frozen today:yes:

    man i was so ready for corn!:drool:

    Exactly. I'm glad summer is here. I just made some updates to my hearth and removed my mantel and I have all this dry, stacked wood I'm looking at in the back yard. I kinda just want to let the wood stove rip and see what she can do now that we no longer are in fire code violation.

    we've had good local corn here since 7/1. I'll get it most every day till my wife says it's time for a salad!
