Some maple on a humid day that didn’t rain, yet

some processing ahead this weekend

 

Norway Maple, yeah? Good stuff! Burns between red and sugar maple in my neck of the woods, and seems to split and dry easy.

 

It has cooled a bunch here and dried out after about five straight days of rain. Nice looking maple!

 

Got it cut and rolled up, some big rounds to split this week between the showers

 

Nice today, but they say another week of storms ahead.

 

Mostly all processed now, with thunderstorms predicted for everyday this week. Great weather yesterday and today however.

 

One good storm today, heavier ones expected tomorrow. I have been extra thankful to have paved the processing area in months like this. It’s graded so the water just runs under or away from the pile and off

 

I had a Dr. appointment this morning then ran some errands, got back and cooked breakfast. Went in to change into work clothes and head out to mow the grass...started raining before I got out the door...Looks like nine out of the next ten days have a good possibility of storms...

 

You process enough wood to make any hoarder envious!

 

Better than the gym! And heats the house too!
