Just ordered a new axe, from North River Outdoors. Its a 4.5 lb Arvika and they even sent me a picture of the axe handle to show me the grain orientation. I believe they also hand polish the axe before shipping. I asked if they could hand pick me one with good grain orientation, and they did it. Free shipping, and the best price i've see on this size, type, style axe. They said it would ship today. I've been thinking about this for some time, and decided today was the day. I've never been able to cut/paste pictures on here. I've needed to download the pics, then upload using "upload a file" button at the bottom of the Web page.
