The frame and engine (and most the tranny) is in great shape. The body has aged SO QUICKLY out here in the last 5 years since the high winds carry sand and basically sandblast vehicles ( ), but, as soon as I win the lottery I am getting a couple panels replaced, new rubber insulation for the doors and windows, meanwhile my awesome ol truck that is customized for me, over 150K miles for me in it so the seat is molded to fit my buttocks, as well as WWW has over 100K miles in it, and a cool mechanic heated (welded) and bent the gas and clutch pedal arms up for me so I could drive it in high heels for all those years I had to dress professionally. Meanwhile that awesome old truck drives great and it still fits like a glove when rumble around in it (custom exhaust when we did the last engine in 2007-8, thus it "rumbles". It's not a hot rod but WOW it's fun when I hit the pedal to the metal and tach through the gears fast :yes:o_O:smoke:

Honestly I don't care what it looks like, its functional, I know I'm safe in it and never get stranded or stuck in the snow, awesome truck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never know his situation? Maybe he lost his job and needs to pay bills? Maybe his kid needs an operation ? Some people do this as a hobby. He may be moving on to the next project?

And not quite done. Have some caulking and have to glue the counter down, it's just sat on there now.

Covered a lower outlet and installed a new outlet over the counter and down beside it on the right side. Had to rip out and patch a vent that was behind the fridge and part of the cabinets so they would go flush to the wall. 20180714_230808.jpg

I agree that stuff happens, but Even worse are the examples I see where people take a used vehicle in average or worse condition, put 5K bucks into it on tires and parts and then up and sell it when it's still only worth maybe 4K bucks. They'd make more money selling as is. I know emergencies come up, but I see it so often I have trouble believing that's the case with all of them.

Not complaining, especially if I'm a buyer getting something more reliable, but it wouldn't be me...........but then, I drive trucks till they can't be drove no more haha

A lot oF people trade for stuff that are into this. They also can and know where to buy things at a super deal, like 20 cents on the dollar. So there getting those rums for example off a guy that they traded something else laying around for or someone who bought them stupidlg and had to sell to get some cash to pay their bail or child support. There is crazy stuff. I know people who seem to be able to buy anything they want at like half or 2/3 what I do???!!!

Here some more pics of the progress since I know everyone likes pics.

The back splash area is painted that dark blue now, there was a big cabinet thing there before this so it was never painted behind.

Oh, that's true enough. I can name a few people, I don't know where they get stuff. And not all, but some, I know where they're getting the cash but I won't say online for legal reasons......if you know what I mean haha

Caffeine and breakfast in. Almost time to go out and grease the Mini Excavator again. I’ll get some more done with it today as they are planning a trip up here with my tractor and taking this back. It’s going to be a hot one today! 71 already and going to 90-ish this afternoon.

I need to stop hoarding red oak. damm does it stink IN THE HOUSE! I could barely smell the white oak that is in the same spot.

Last night my daughter was asking why she smelled poop. Took me a minute to realize it was the red she smelled.

They make good ribs. However they've got nothing on my ribs recipe. ;)

They have great steaks, with pretty much everything else you could want. It's say it's one of the more solid choices for chain food.

I'm sure it's not a 4.8. No one that would put the time into that project would use a 4.8. There's a reason they dropped that engine. It was a turd, considering the 5.3 was better in every regard for the smallest of up charges.

They'll get all of 30k for that.

We had some great steakhouses thirty years or so ago, but they’ve all closed up and the few that are left leave a lot to be desired. The best one we had exploded from a leaking propane line. The restaurant was built over a filled in pool on the property of a motel. The manager was vacuuming when the place went up and got killed. Real nice guy.The explosion threw steel beams out into the parking lot. Such a shame.

I guess they don't want a horse population explosion.
