I was going to try a nice hot soak in the hot tub. Cranked it up to 104 and went in at about 9:45. Couldn't take more than 5 minutes of swatting mosquitoes though. They were swarming bad.

 

Our high today is only 89! Same weather I see.

I had go head into downtown Boston to meet a customer and give him some nascar tickets. Absolutely beautiful weather and scenery in town today.

 

Well one of my daughters friends is staying with us and she had to make a call. So she used our land line, she hands me phone and says its beeping.. Yup a busy signal she never heard one before..

 

Haha. You get those from a cell phone too though??

 

Teenagers don't call people, they text, facetime, Instagram, snap chat etc etc.. But not call.

 

Forest fire in town......right by the last subdivision in that direction.......people being evacuated......the smoke is reaching at least halfway across town in mom's area.....

Can't like that! I hope no one's house burns down. Are you very dry there? With the muni water supply down, do the hydrants work?

 

The water supply is working in there as far as I know, they draw from a large lake. We have had a hot few days without much rain. Supposed to get some rain starting tomorrow night. Good timing, the matresses I have to haul tomorrow should have a dry ride

 

That's what my brother said. I thought he was joking though. He is only 4 years younger than me, and I don't know any of this stuff. I'm only 36, myself technically a millineal by the definition and years that make up the generation, but I am really generations away from those kids. I am more old Scholls type, I do love my phone, Internet and texting but I can do things my self and don't rely on others and I do actually use the phone?

 

Yup, LP's are there for my listening pleasure-the turntable is on the top of the stereo rack and does still work.

I hate the auto correct is not better.

This dang thing if I start typing a word, see that I misspelled it and then back space to correct it, it's like it won't recognize the whole word. It like where I back spaces too is one part and what was before it is another and it will split it into two random words most time and if I don't watch it you end up with random crap like that. It actually did it on one word I went to correct in this post but I saw It do it and deleted it all out to start over.
