Last few weeks during the hot spell I needed a release from work. With my new kindling cracker I got ahead.

I ordered one of the large ones this week. Northern Tool had a 20$ off deal and free shipping. I have a lot of cedar I want to make into kindling.

Looking good Thor! With my setup I only start one fire per year, so I don't do much kindling, but working in the wood is great stress relief.

Don't think I've ever seen a stack of just kindling. I don't use much at all. That stack would be a lifetime supply for me.

I like to have 1/3 cord of small pine splits/kindling on hand to use a few to get the stove going in the morning. I'm impatient and don't like waiting for oak to slowly get going smokin' away offa the overnite/morning coals. Get the stove up to speed then throw the good stuff on.

I keep a couple cords of kiln dried in the basement for kindling. Really handy for getting things up to temp.

This should last me a few seasons. In the fall it will go in the wood shed.

Kindling wood is always nice to have, even with fire starters.

I guess it's the original? It's very addictive.

I've had it for a month or so. I need to have my wife hide it from me. She thinks I spend to much time with it. :tears:
