I think I’ll do that when I take a break today. Right now it’s time to grease the Excavator again and do some digging.

 .... Well Hopefully that'll give you peace of mind after all the issues that you had with the Mahindra... You've got reason to be running a little slow this morning after all the seat time that you've had... Made a whole lotta progress there bud!

Well, the score has changed, it's now Holly.. 3 woodchucks.. 0

She's been patiently stalking their den for about 2 weeks, paid off today.

There's a much larger chuck as well.

I've taken to carrying along a single shot 22 when we go walking.

Holly is a fairly proficient hunter, and patient. She'll lay in the grass near the den for hours if we let her.

Unfortunately,. she's not very selective, and has gotten 2 baby rabbits this year. o_O

She doesn't quite understand why I lecture her, rather than praise and reward her on those.

I am hoping that the lack of P&R will help her determine what's fair game, and what's not.

Gorgeous weather here in Victoria, BC Just completed 6.5 km walk before it gets hot. Yesterday, my daughter and I went geocaching in the afternoon. That could be quite the fascinating hobby. campinspecter is doing well. They have him walking short walks now. Headed over there this morning to see how he is doing.

39A0C314-A3FE-48CC-A1ED-228FADBCC247.jpeg Processed about a face cord this morning. Ont thing about having a few years in the horde, can process at a leisurely pace and just enjoy it. My son climbed around and looked for spiders.

They apparently have rescued 4 of the young boys from the caves in Thailand. Let’s pray that they can get all of them and their coach out safely.

Speaking of woodchucks, yesterday I found a fresh digging, in our corn. Set a trap and like a dunce, forgot to take the safety off. Trap got moved... Reset. Judy out there now and said the animal dug out the entrance to get around the trap. Okay, it's war now!

Edit: Judy just said she thinks it might be a coyote rather than a woodchuck. Hum... That would be interesting. Maybe I need to set a camera up there? I'll get out there soon.
