Got one already when I turned it on. It starts on high, from the off position.... HOLY CRAP!
Just a few coals in the stove right now, and about 30 outside.
I'll know a bit more in the morning.

    Patience, my good man.:)
    Well, you were right.
I only loaded 8 splits last night. Woke to a bunch of coals (which is normal) and laid 3 pine/spruce splits on about 7:30.
Those burned until about 9, and I ran on those coals until about noon with the fan @ about 1/4 to 1/3 speed.
The kitchen stayed at very close to 70.....normal would have been 66-67. Living room was about 68 when I got up.
I'd say the blower works better than the air purifier at getting the warm air to the back of the house.....I turned off the AP last night as a test.
Outside temp was 25° when I got up, and it's about 30 right now.
    This might just work.
Not anywhere near extreme conditions, and only one night, but it's looking gooder.

Good initial report! My experience with blowers has always been positive.

I'll wait for more reports. You should be able to see a lot higher room temps and longer burn cycles.

I saw a bit of that this morning.
    The kitchen, especially.
    Going down to 17° tonight.
It's been so long since I used the blower on the Ashley, I've completely forgotten how it affects temps in the rest of the house.
    This should be interesting.
I appreciate the push to get the blower....I was hesitating.
I need to pay attention to the temp in the back bedroom tonight and in the morning. I was a little dazed this a.m. when the puppies got me up, so I didn't check.
So much fun having a Lab sneezing in your face.....kind of a snort, actually.:headbang:

I didn't point that at any particular individual.
It was directed at anybody who made the suggestion.
    I just don't always remember who did.......:headbang:
So, Ray and BBar, and anyone else who said a blower would be helpful.......thank you for that.:)

    Blower = good heat dispertion.
My BKK would not be sufficient here, without the blower...
    Glad it's working for you.

    Thanks B-K.
I'm probably not going to get the truest sense of how this will work until next year....when it's actually cold again.
Down to 17° tonight, and that may be about the coldest for a few months.

Yep. I was still learning little things about the Ashley after almost 8 seasons.
This morning was not too bad. Loaded 9 splits in last night. Three n/s, then 3 e/w, then 3 more n/s (the bottom row filled the bottom of the box).
Stove was about 300 at about 6:00 a.m., and all I did was open the air for an hour. 68 in the living room, and almost the same in the kitchen with an outside temp of 17°.
Even though the house temp was down slightly, it seemed more even. Still cooler as I moved toward the back, but I didn't notice quite as much cool air while sitting at the kitchen table.
Noticed the same yesterday. This was with the fan turned down as low as possible last night before bed, and no air purifier running.
I put one Spruce split on about 7:00, then just about 8:00 I put 2 Maple splits in and got the stove up to about 450 before closing down the air about 1/2 way.
Went outside and nothing but heat sig. coming from the flue.
Looks as though the flue is still as clean as when I cleaned the other day. The 30 very obviously burns much cleaner than the old stove.
My brother has my extension ladder, so I've been putting the 8' model up on the deck and climbing on the roof at the back end of the house, which has a slightly lower roof.
I walk the peak to the other end to clean and check.....it's a PITA, but doable. Need to get my ladder back.
