    I'm betting Allan might be a bit sore but yet happy the surgery is over. I'm sure it is a great relief to Woodwidow too. We'll keep praying for a great and quick recovery.

    All improving on my front. Dads out of ICU, Lil girl is improving, and I found Drs that listen for me..
    I've always had a heart.. Its my moms fault she was a saint..

    I got to see campinspecter for 5 mins while he was still under sedation. His colour was good and all the vitals were doing well. I will be able to see him again today. Limited visiting until Sunday.

    I stopped in to see him for 10 mins and he was awake and talking. They were taking all his tubes out and had him standing for 5 mins already this morning. He was looking forward to his jello lunch as his appetite wasn't affected by the surgery. God is so good with his care of us.

    five to seven days depending on his progress. One worry is how well his lungs are and for Allan I don't think that will be an issue.

    OK, now for the bummer. Mom passed on the 27th.
    I just wanted to get that out there because it's been a long time coming. She went peacefully with my sister and Dad there. I had just returned home and planned to return on Thurs. but the 'ol girl was finally ready. Past ready, really ready. I'm happy for her, she's truly in a much better place now.
    I'm emotionally exhausted. I don't need condolences or prayers, she's finally home and I'm thankful.
    If anything, thank the Lord for accepting her and not prolonging her situation here any longer than it was. Thanks, JB

    Beetle-Kill I understand completely, I watched my mom fight cancer for 4 years. Almost thankful when she went home to heaven. I still miss her, but glad her journey was done!
