Good morning! Sunshine and mild temps,,looks like it's gonna' be a nice day today.
New clutch drum, bearing and bar/chain for the cs400 yesterday. I was all set to maybe work on a little splitting/stacking yesterday when I was waylaid by my neighbor, One Eye Injun Ed.
Injun Ed has never been the industrious type, in fact he's something of a sponge for the most part and won't hesitate to disrupt a guy when he's busy,,so the bumm comes rolling up on me with promises of fishing the very private, very well stocked, "Stoney Lodge" pond. I pointed out the pile of wood in my shed and he pointed out the nice weather,,,so,,I went fishin'!!
For shame,, that damm Injun Ed ,,,

The latest view after yesterday and today's work. First pic from inside the camp and then second walking down sidewalk from parking area. Took down more branches and small trees closer to the parking area so we can see down the hill while walking to the camp as well. What a difference! What a job I have to clean all this stuff up! I will get some wood out of it. Took down some Ash growing near some nice large Spruce. Definitely leaving the Spruce.

Finally a nice day after a nasty rain/sleet and slush storm yesterday.

Today the sun came out and it went from 29'F at 8:00AM to about 39'F by noon time. I got my chores done and then decided I needed to take the Valkyrie out for a sticker and a first run of the season.

Restarted the Fv tonight as it is dipping down again overnight.

Changed out the "guts" in the upstairs toilet-- what a difference that made. Fill time went from 3 mins down to 48 seconds and the bowl wash feature actually works.

Sad news about a Plymouth ma motor bike cop Tuesday, lost his life while on duty in a freak accident. Still don't know what happened

Grammy is still at our daughter's place (stays during the week). She called last night and said both of the lil guys are not feeling well… again. Going on 2 weeks of virus crap. The older one gets better, goes to daycare, brings home a new bug. Oh well… My honey sounded pretty down last night. Tears her up when the lil guys aren't well. Prolly head down again today to see what kind of trouble I can get into.

Edit: Just heard from her and Dad gets out early today so he'll be there to help.

Welp… looks like there's just no way to avoid it… ;)… I'm headed for the woods. Been a while… :tree:

In even a little bit of snow they would manage to knock it over. the previous owners only had one of those metal spikes on a 4×4 and it was close to the road. If they break this post or knock it over their doing something. Hope the little ones start getting better soon.
