Hey guys I’m gonna let go of one of my saws. It’s a ms362c with a 20” bar. In good shape and not a beater. Bar has no paint left but it’s all 100% oem. Gonna try Craigslist first. Any ideas?
What year is this saw? Estimated cordage cut/time on the saw? Maybe a few close ups of muffler, undercarriage, clutch cover removed, the muffler removed for piston peek, etc. A video of it running and in the wood is always helpful too. A solid guess can be made without most of these suggestions being fulfilled, but you know FHC!?!
Understandable. I’ll give you $50 right now and save you any other troubles selling it to someone that’s gonna want all those little details...
I’d think you could probably get $4-500 easy if it’s a good runner, more if it was cleaner. You the original owner? I’d list it in the classifieds here too. I guarantee shipping a saw will be a lot less hassle than dealing with CL buyers in the long run. There’s a pretty large community of folks here who are interested in chainsaws = more demand.
Possibly Moderating can move this to the equipment forum might get better input. A minty used one $500-600 Yours showing wear and bar paint gone maybe 350-400 unless you take some bottom pics and compression readings
