We had a momma and baby deer in our yard this evening. The fawn was even nursing at one point.

This picture is hard to make out, but the mom was on the right and baby on her hooves to the left. This was after they were leaving. IMG_20180628_200308042.jpg

Seeing momma and baby deer made my wife's day.

It's literally sometimes the little things in life that make you happy.:)

Breakfast with Dad again this morning. Filling in for another sibling. He is doing well lately.

Today the sun is out very strong already. Going to get into the high 80s. I put our A/C units in a while ago. I don’t like it above 75 in the house. And the wife and son have some allergies so best to keep the windows mostly shut a lot of the times with all the “stuff” flying around.

I think I've come to peace with taking the money and putting up with some BS for a few more years. It's the quickest way out of the rat race. Keeping stacking those dollars.

Ho-lee-bleep....it's nasty outside. 90 degrees but the humidity is unreal. Dew point is 78.

Finally got around to replacing the coil-overs in the truck last night. The first side, to put it midly, did not go well. I got some bad info off the interwebs and it turned into a nightmare. 3 hours of sweating, cussing, and an alignment (which I needed anyway) later, I got it back to better than new.

I took off at noon today, researched a little more, and had the passenger side done in 30 minutes.

Right after I got everything taken apart, my neighbor stopped by and offered his air-conditioned shop that also has a lift for me to use. Next time, for sure.

Well, they say it's the thought that counts.

    Got me some pallets yesterday.:dancer:
    14 pallets, odd sized @ 31*47 inches.:sherlock:

But given two rows on ~55ft of pallets, I can stack 4.5 cord.

Can anyone tell me more about this?

    Sorenson Legacy Foundation

I looked up an anquaintance near a wildfire as I did not know how close the fire was or if they had been evacuated, for years and years sent Christmas cards to their PO BOX, it said the joint owner is the above link. Huh?

Keep watching, they usually have 2 at a time. I watched an antelope give birth behind the 5th wheel the summer we stayed in it during remodel. Momma would come back a couple times a day to nurse them, I had to look it up after I realized she was nursing two separate babies "hidden" in different places.
