Anybody know what these little buggers are? Had them out on the patio a couple days ago, I don't believe I've seen them before. I don't know what to google either, little red bug doesn't seem to be working lol

Huh, that's weird...we have a bunch of the same bugs here...they are hanging out on one of my sons plastic yard toys...I thought at first they were juvenile Box Elder bugs...but now I'm not sure they are...never seen 'em before a few weeks ago...not much help...

Initial thought was either very young Boxelder or Milkweed bugs but they seem too skinny.

A quick googlize of the term “juvenile box elder bug” shows a nearly spot on image match.

Hate most bugs. Esp. those that bite me or want to eat my plants. I have been fighting them off with natural things like garlic and other herbs. Most bugs just hate garlic.

My wife calls all bugs the same thing. "Kill it". She points at it, looks at me, and says kill it.

I had a bunch of those on/in some dead Elm and Popular I took down back in the spring. That had 2-3" long "stingers"! (tails...I guess) Pretty crazy lookin! I seen some of them have their long tails stuffed down in a hole in the wood...laying eggs I suppose.
