Thought I had started this poist some time ago when I started the new drive way but couldn't find it. So I took a ride on the bota today between rain showers to get a couple fence post and get some pictures. The new drive is nearly complete. In fact I have been driveing my PU in and out on it. The incline needs a less angled slope for me. Up there some where near the power pole is the south west corner. I just have not taken the time to waller around up to see if I can find some sort of marker. There is a old trail down thru all that grass to the pond. This is the trail I made to haul loads of dirt up to the new driveway and also to become a back door drive to the pole barn. Al
This is the pond looking west toward the road. As you can see it is very grassy along with some swamp milk weeds about to bloom. this is the trail that goes along the old fence line, the real line is about 50 yards to the left. the trail down thru the center east of the pond. Al
This is the South trail thru the property. We had a half inch of rain so the branches are hanging low. Once thing have slowed down I plan of trimming and chipping all that over hang. This a open spot that I plan to make a deer/turkey food plot in the fall. There is a deer back there in the south east corner of thr property. the camera decided to focas on the oak leaves. There she is. This is the middle at the east end of the place, the creek is about 30 yards to the left. Al
This the future food plot area looking south tward the horse farm fence. This the north end of the food plot area. This is the horse farm pasture. Horses were in the barn due to the rain so the deer were filling up before going to feed babies. A pair of twins. wish I would have had the camera with the telphoto lens. Will from now on. Swamp Milk weed about to bloom. The Monarch butter flies like them to lay eggs on almost as much as the regular Milk weeds. Al
You did...Aquireing 10 more acres of vacant land. By the way...enjoy all the high quality pics you post...but posting them full size make your threads take f o r e v e r and a day to load...(and we have high speed internet!) try posting them using the "as a thumbnail" option...please and thank you!
Nice pictures, no noted problem loading them. You said a pond, but what I saw was a field of grass. ? a marsh.
The grass is growing in about 2 feet of water at the presant time. It may dry up this summer as it does sopme summers. Al
