Too warm for a fire

I found something else to do.
I posted a planter I made and iv made another since then.
Had some square blocks I couldn’t split and some big rounds that were too thin and nice to burn.
Saw was out so the square blocks are now oval shaped and the rounds are Smith after hours of sanding.
Few more sanding sand coats of varnish yet but there going to be tables for my decking.
All saved from my first scrounge two year ago.

Just going back to my piece of wood it has a few nice splits and cracks in it.
I want to fill them with something nice that I can sand Flat then varnish.
Any links I can have a nosey at that you know of ?

 

Some people use epoxy resin. I don't really like the artificial colors though.

clear expoxy + saw dust ( or good old white glue)

 

Iv ordered 5 liters if clear resin and five colours for future plans, I would actually like a brass effect but hey ho
