I bought one new a few months back. I came home and started it up to cut a couple logs to check it out. I put it up and yesterday put in new fuel and no start and same thing this morning. Whats up and any tricks of the trade ??

What motor is on this unit? If its a honda gx, check your oil. They have a low oil, no start safety switch on them.

Full choke and prime the bulb, pull until it burps, push choke in and pull until it starts.....

Brainfart. Saw the model and for whatever reason I thought sawmill or splitter. Beers seem to be working for me obviously :)

Check for fuel, air and spark. If no spark check the ground wire. Plug and coil should be fine. That should get you started.

When in doubt Satchmo always pull the plug and see if it is wet or dry. Always a good starting point.
