How do you like the Pie Iron? I have a reproduction Toast-Tite that is aluminum and it seals the edges of the bread. Makes awesome grilled cheese.

Made some quick pies again tonight! First time I’ve ever used or owned one! I thinks it’s awesome so far! Like you say it seals off the edges of the bread and makes nice little desserts with some pie filling in there! This one is a Rome industries not sure where it’s made, but says it’s the “original” iron haha
Next up I try some other sandwiches and I saw a good recipie for little pizzas!!

We got a package of 4 for $8. They were thin, but very good. I can’t say if they were the best quality or not, but they were juicy. I’ve seen waygu steaks that were ridiculously expensive so I had to try these. It was the first time they ever had them. The store carries all sorts of burgers from brisket to short rib to ribeye and others.

There's a Wegmans near me that sells Wagyu steaks I believe for $40+/lb...its gonna take a surplus of spending money and a whole lot of confidence in not screwing up cooking them before I would buy.

From what I read, in the realm of Wagyu $100/lb is common for the high quality stuff.
