Reading about these temps just blows my mind. I have just grown up assuming 80 to 90f as a high May through mid October

Some years we never hit 100, if we do it's only a few times. Same thing with 90's, some years we'll get 10 days, or more that hit 90. A few years back we had a miserable summer because we had 30 days that hit 90. It broke a record.

Just lit a fire. Not that cold, but after two days of fifty degree weather? One load of lodgepole sounds about right. Crazy year. My burn season started early sept. Still burning every couple of days in june.

Well, we ain’t got no trees on our < 1/4 acre and watering the neighbor’s one tree would expose me, so “Fence it is!” :thumbs:

It's 75f now at 8:36am. Probably on the way to upper 80s or 90?

Going out on the boat on lake thus weeked. We went out memorial day weekend and the water was still a bit cold for me. My boat depthfinder surface temp was 80f give or take a degree.

Lit up the nc-13 one more time at the cottage the other night.

62f inside so I had a quick burn of small stuff. Yeah, it got too hot and had to open a window right around 2:00................

After a day out cutting in the sleet (4c at 3 pm) I thought it was a good idea to give the furnace a rest and load the stove. Ive been lazy about burning the last three weeks but around here we have high highs and low lows so loading the stove isnt far off. Sometimes its easier to just turn the furnace up and call it a season but it was good to fire up the PE tonight.

My driving conditions for part of the day 20180613_085154.jpg

The only fire we've been having is a paper burn every couple days first thing in the morning. But we had a cold and wet front move in. Got lots of rain down low. But up a couple thousand feet they got snow. 20180613_113458.jpg
