A supplier of mine took me and 2 other co-workers out to the Brewers game vs the Cubs tonight right after work. Great game, food and drinks in the suite, then seats just behind the Brewers dugout. Awesome game, plus the Brewers beat the Cubs so they are in first place again.

Hated to "like" that. I am happy that he (and others) are safe, but must be a hard hit to realize you just lost everything.

Hmm...I dunno about some of their stats...being familiar with a couple of those Ohio cities, I would not rate them so high on the list, if at all...but you know what they say about stats...

Without looking, I guessed Detroit as number 1. They deserve that. And guess where the government of MI wants to send the majority of money... It's like our schools. The Detroit schools are a mess so it was proposed that each school district in MI give up a percentage of their budget to bail out Detroit. What? They got themselves into the mess they are in, let them bail themselves out too.

That reminds me of the "head tax" that edit.. Seattle passed, and now repealed.

It was imposed on employers (Amazon) to provide housing for the homeless.

Let's see, you tax and drive out the largest employers in order to "reduce" homelessness, so what about all the home owning employee's that could have lost their jobs. :picard:

Guess it better be a very good homeless program, they would have had a LOT more to help.

That's what happens when politicians don't think about the consequences of the legislation they pass.

Lots of blame for Seattleā€™s head-tax debacle. Except where it belongs.

You will never see the city I live in on this list. Mine is on the other end of the scale.;) Milwaukee, at 10, didn't surprise me at all. There's more reasons than what were listed for that.

WWW was born and raised in #24, glad he left there and I cannot fathom why his relatives still live there. It's a very dangerous town and has gone bankrupt a couple times.

It's hard to tell where the smoke plume ends and the storm clouds begin, but the pictures show it better than in person. Pics go east to south.

Firebroad , the two black specks towards the bottom left are barn swallows, the babies are growing and getting vocal, it's quite an experience to hear 50 nests of babies and parents all talking back and forth :)

Small thunder and lightening storm just came through here. Couple loud cracks but nothing major. Just enough rain to help the gardens and grass.

Thanks Gas, feeling safer on my end, but badly about the homes lost and where it's headed. BK's fire had a huge and fast response compared to up here (population density), so it appears his is better too.

Probably more if I count both sides of the pole barn, they are fun to watch catching lake hatch insects, they dive and glide and turn on a dime over the back yard :)
