Someone was selling their house. So.....

    No, I didn't get any firewood they had, unfortunately.

    But, I did get the racks!

    Got a call from a friend of my SIL, asking if I wanted them, sight unseen. He was willing to pickup and deliver.

    Hell yeah!

    Seven in total. A couple need a little TLC, but the others are good to go with 4x4's, 6x4's running across the bottom.

    I haven't measured them yet, but the two longest are 14 footers. The others, a mix of 12, 10, 1nd 8 feet in length.

    Can't do too much with them right now. Where they would go, currently have loaded racks. So, I'll be working them in as racks get emptied the next few heating seasons

    Yep pt. Looks like they were sitting on grade. I'll be sure to get them up on thin blocks/bricks when they are loaded up for the long haul.

    A while back....a member posted firewood racks being made by FFA students in Hancock,MD......I get a phone call from the advisor about a month ago n he told me he's gettin transfered. He said he could make me some now before schools out. I told him id take 2.....

    yes n yes.....here's the 2nd one.....6x8 ft trailer with gate down....gate strapped to wood rack....it was about 1 1/4 trip one way but worth it.

    That's Awesome. I'm always wishing I had more wood racks laying around. (I'd lay my wood on poles after I split it vertically, if i could)....

    Nice score on the racks!!!! Just saw on CS a guys selling very similar, 5 for $15 each, was thinking about it. Jealous bear 1998 those woods sheds are really nice and exactly what am looking to build soon for my seasoned wood.
