Two day road trip to help my brother get a job done in Burlington. Wish we had more time to see some of the city. But have to get back tomorrow afternoon. (There goes two days of the vacation.) Each time I’ve been here it was just for a day to get something done, and not enough time to take anything else in. Oh well. Some day I’ll bring the wife and kids here.

wildwest , apparently they work great. A co-worker got one for her husband, the original bug a- salt and it works great. The new and improved version will surely work even better.

Black locust flowers sure smell awesome.

When I ride my motorcycle to work, there's some awesome backroads that are lined with BL. What an awesome smell. I think only riding on hwy 1 on the northern Californian coast through eucalyptus groves tops that.

Today I drove 3 towns over to the west to organise/look over the final plans for a new shed/workshop that we are going to build at home.

I left home at noon and went to the bank and picked up a check then headed west had a late lunch at 2:20 pm then in to the meeting. Discussed plans had a coffee then climbed back in the truck and headed home. Turned off the highway part way and cut across the back roads and home again at 6:15 pm.

I never realized how many black locusts were in my town, until they bloomed. I tried to make a mental note of some thick groves worth checking for downed limbs. There's a lot by the side of roads and highways.

Far out, a tornado went by town last night at 5 and we lost power. Finally just came back on over 18 hours later.

I copied the picture from facebook (once I got power back a couple hours ago). Posted it in disbelief. It was 8 miles north of town, and I am 10 or 15 miles south west of the picture. Still spooky chit since we could see the dark gray/green over there and the skies were ominous here! Tornados in my life are nonexistent except a rogue one here or there. Idk, this home has been here since 1952, that's my story and I'm sticking to it :salute:

I was just talking to WWW about your misfortune from your electricity company, what an unneeded trial! Listen to your bride, she has great taste and we all know you'll love it :)
