Sharpening chain with file on drill

    So it just clicked....I can buy a dremel file, and use it on my drill.....Ive been doing it by hand and it seems like it is not good enough....So being I have a hunk of $h!t craftsman chainsaw with 4 chains that i constantly am sharpening and it don't do much (and yes I'm doing it by hand correctly)....I thought this is last resort before buying a new real chainsaw...Any experience or tips for using a dremel file in my drill to sharpen the chains

    Not the most ideal way to sharpen, but one thing you want to make sure of is to not overheat the cutter and loose temper. Keep the speed as low as you can.

    I’ve heard not the most ideal...but these chains are going in the garbage so may as well try for the hell of it to see if they can be useable with a $5 file
