With the big rounds you have to chew your way around the outside.

Until you have some blocks more splitable in size.

Those are some big rounds! I wish we could get a smell experience along with your pictures! They look like they are on their way to drying. Did you check them with a moisture meter?

    Big rounds!
Hey Grizzly Adam, is there a “scratch and sniff” feature you could turn on?

These pics demonstrate the acute grade of your property better than the other thread.

That has to be really sweet getting logs like that for bucking firewood. Just think; no brush to contend with either.

WOW!! That is impressive. We don't have anything around here like that. At least not anything I'm aware of. I wouldn't even know where to begin with something that big.

I've been told its pretty good though it makes a lot of white ash, but have never burned it in the Jetstream . The wood is so easy to get it doesn't make much difference to me if it not the best .

I hear you, when I lived in Whistler I had easy access to a bunch of yellow cedar. I burned slabs of it in the wood stove since it was so easy to get.

Some great pics here, as Stinny said, you've got a real sweet splitter rig there. You need it for those big ones.

That's the sign of a guy who knows what he's doing, stacking on an incline.

Begin the same way as you do on smaller stuff.
